Marguerite Humeau’s \*sk\*/ey-

Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami

One of the highlights of this year's Miami Art week is Marguerite Humeau’s solo exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, her first major presentation in the United States. Humeau, known for her diverse practice involving collaborations with various experts, creates new mythologies with anthropologists, paleontologists, foragers, and clairvoyants.

Titled \*sk\*/ey-, Humeau's exhibition at the ICA Miami explores the concept of shedding or splitting, imagining new worlds and showcasing the evolution of futuristic life forms due to the climate crisis. The exhibit includes newly commissioned sculptures and videos, offering an immersive experience with a diverse range of materials like cast rubber, handblown glass, and semi-translucent silk.

Don't miss the opportunity to explore \*sk\*/ey-, on display at the ICA Miami until March 30, 2025.
