Aspen Art Museum's Art Crush "Celestial Nights" Gala : Base of Buttermilk Mountain, Aspen Colorado

The “Celestial Nights” ArtCrush Gala—hosted at the Aspen Art Museum on August 1, 2025—was a glittering, invitation-only summer fundraiser themed around astral glamour and sartorial wonder. This event served as the centerpiece of Aspen’s annual ArtCrush programming, organized by the Aspen Art Museum’s leadership with a dedicated team, extensive auction coordination, and prominent co-chairs. 

Among the auction offerings was a notable lot titled DART Car × Mickalene Thomas experience, a unique package that included a studio visit with the artist and a “track day. Mickalene Thomas attended the 2025 ArtCrush Gala hosted by the Aspen Art Museum, alongside other prominent artists in contemporary art.
