Muys Snijders recently took part in a panel discussion, organized by One Art Nation during the Moniker Art Fair, New York, which focused on URBAN ART and how STREET ARTISTS increasingly dominate the contemporary art market and have managed to turn graffiti into a sought-after investment.
Muys was joined on the panel by Tony “Rubin” Sjöman, Manhattan based mural and studio artist and Annelien Bruins, an independent Chief Marketing Officer to companies in the art, luxury and wealth management industries, as moderator. Together they discussed the evolution of street art into the mainstream contemporary realm and the inherent value increase at galleries, auctions and its use for branding by large corporations.
