Focusing on art as an asset class, this discussion will unpack from a 360 degree point of view — creating, investing, maintaining, preserving, and protecting a collection on both the private and public level. The panelists will examine the strategies they have used to build collections as an investment, while also investigating the ethical and financial considerations that play into acquiring artworks.
The participants in the panel include Laura Smith Sweeney, a San Francisco-based art advisor with a dedication to transparency, integrity and expertise; Muys Snijders, Head of Art Collection Management, American International Group, Inc. (AIG), and Coley Cassidy – Rockefeller Global Family Office. Moderated by Intersect Art and Design's Managing Director, Becca Hoffman.
